The Regional Tourism Authority for the Shannon Region which covers the Shannon Estuary and the Port of Foynes.

The area is synomonous with internationally renowned tourism projects including the Majestic Cliffs of Moher, Adare - Ireland's Prettiest Village, the Burren, Shannon Medieval Banquets, Bunratty Castle, the Hunt Museum, Georgian Limerick and King John's Castle in Limerick.

The Region is also served by Shannon International Airport with its daily transatlantic flights to East Coast of North America.
